Screen porch season is here—the time of the year when the breeze drifts in, evenings slow down, and the porch becomes the coziest seat in the house.
We can all agree that nothing beats a screened porch for enjoying this weather. This is hardly a new trend, North Carolina’s architectural history is punctuated with centuries of porch-sitters who understood the importance of transient indoor/outdoor relationships in such climate.
