A two-story pavilion to meet the needs of a growing family, have been added to the back yard of a contemporary ranch house, preserving the street presence of the existing. The spaces gain distinct character from simple, durable materials such as stained concrete floors and veneer plywood ceilings. Large windows and doors connect the interior to a series of outdoor balconies and decks.
