Lakefront living at its best.
For decades, the owners have called this spectacular site home. Their detailed understanding of its solar cycles, weather patterns, and panoramic views informed their architectural program. Greet the sunrise from the primary suite. Sip morning coffee by a corner of windows overlooking the water. Step outside to the patio and watch the grandkids dive off the dock. Retreat to the screened porch for dinner on a rainy day. And yes, find a way to build around the favorite boulder outcropping.
The main level is comprised of an open living room, kitchen, and dining alcove. A dramatic tiled fireplace anchors the living room with an adjacent built-in to hide the television.
Accordion doors connect the kitchen to the screen porch and the outdoor kitchen, where an accordion window opens wide to serve as a pass-through and buffet for platters of food fresh off the grill.
The primary suite is discreetly tucked behind the kitchen and pantry. It has its own east facing balcony, a contemporary fireplace, and a spa-like bathroom with a soaking tube, spacious shower, and plenty of natural light without sacrificing privacy.
An airy stair or convenient elevator connects the lower level. The entertainment room with a full bar and projection capabilities opens to a covered patio with stairs that descend to the dock. A custom bunk room welcomes young visitors, while home offices easily transform into guest suites for grown-ups.
The house enjoys many “smart home” features. The circadian lighting system mimics the passage of time and the beauty of the sites natural rhythms. A detached garage with an apartment above provides extra space while complimenting the house’s character.
This lakeside residence promises decades more of elegant living, family memories, and unforgettable sunsets.
